The hotel is in a great location, right next to the smaller lake in the resort. It's just outside the center of town, but still quite close to other attractions. The rooms offer a great view, with a small balcony for smokers. The breakfast provided is also a nice addition.
Everything was great and there were no major issues.

Upon Arrival the Receptionist was very uninterested in us as if it was too much effort to even welcome us in a friendly manner. We have a young 6 month old baby girl and there was not offer of help with doors or our luggage and stroller up a Spiral Staircase to our room. Beds were uncomfortable. Very Hard. Breakfast was also an unfriendly welcome. Very disappointing selection of cheap Orange Drink ... No fresh Juice. No fresh fruit. No continental pastries. When we ordered from the basic menu their was no butter for the toast offered. When asked we were told differing stories. The first about being too late and their was plenty of butter at start of service. Breakfast started at 6.30/7.00 and we arrived at 7.30. The next story was the lorry had not delivered. Eventually we decided to leave the hotel after speaking to the owner. The staff were unable to deal with the issues direct quoting their booking terms and conditions even though they had failed to deliver any level of guest service.

This hotel is fantastic value for money! The attention to detail is impressive, from the friendly and helpful staff to the delicious breakfast provided. The location is also perfect, with the beautiful lake just next to the hotel and the Tatra mountains providing a stunning backdrop. You can even enjoy the view from your room, especially the ones with a small balcony for smokers. a truly enjoyable stay!
All was great, no improvements needed.

Good location for the price. The hotel itself is nothing special but inside was warm and clean, friendly service.
No kettle in the room to make your own tea or coffee. Small sauna, 4 people max. But at the same time we were very pleased to have this in the hotel. The restaurant below the hotel is nothing to write home about but plenty of other restaurants in the area that serve exceptional food.

The surrounding environment was breathtaking, especially during the winter season. the parking was easy to find and accessible. the owners were very friendly and helpful, providing us with all the necessary information. the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of hot and cold foods, and the fireplace in the dining room added extra coziness.
There was no kettle in the room, which was a bit inconvenient for us. some rooms lacked proper separation doors, which might be uncomfortable for some guests.

Spent my Easter here and it was delightful! The friendly staff made us feel at home with freshly made breakfasts and a cute little hot tub for our use. The stunning views of the surrounding mountains from our room and the peaceful location were a highlight. It was in close proximity to the train station and we were able to easily stroll around to the nearby shops.
Although there wasn't a restaurant on site, the lovely staff recommended nearby places to eat that were just a short walk away. The only downside was that some of these local restaurants had unexpected holiday closures over the Easter weekend.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the beautiful Tatra mountains. The location is perfect, just outside the bustling center of town and near the train station. The staff goes above and beyond, always ready to help with any arrangements or recommendations for hikes in the area. The rooms, although lacking a microwave or cutlery, are comfortable and clean, with a stunning view of the Tatra mountains from the small balcony. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast provided, offering a variety of hot and cold options to start your day off right.
All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations.

The shower-curtain in front of the bathtub felt a bit inconvenient for me.
